Somehow, at the back of my mind, I knew a year would not pass that I won’t be able to indulge the fangirl in me. Thank you, CNBLUE. 🙂 #fangirlmodeON
Today, August 1, 2014, the gates are opened for the concert tickets to be sold for this event.
I’ve saved the date. September 19, 2014. I will see you then. (Can’t wait! #eagerbeaver)
More than 1 year ago, on June 15, 2013, I had the UTMOST pleasure of watching these 4 Busan boys play and perform onstage. It was the BLUE MOON CNBLUE 2013 World Tour, and Manila was one of their Asian stops. My cousin, Ma-dear and I decided to make a weekend getaway out of it, and I had a major blast!
You can liken my “affair” with South Korean pop-rock band CNBlue to a slow burn. It wasn’t a I-saw-them-and-bam-I-was-hooked type of thing. It was more like a “Oh, this guy in this Kdrama is the leader of a band?” and “Oh, there’s a Kpop mainstream act that plays its own instruments and not prance around in tight pants doing their best to look pretty?” followed by “Oh, these guys are pretty funny in a laid-back sort of way” then “Oh, wow, they sound pretty good!” to “OK, I’m officially hooked”.
Before seeing Yonghwa, Jonghyun, Jungshin and Minhyuk on September, allow me to relive their Blue Moon con more than a year ago with these pix I managed to take at that time.
Is it obvious who my CNBLUE bias is?
I was honestly surprised that I had so much fun. They didn’t have to bust the moves and dance like your typical Kpop idol group, but they still got the crowd roaring and on their feet. I know I was on my feet 90% of the time. Total performers, these four. And Yonghwa is just so full of energy!
I also enjoyed the play of lights. Migraine-inducing, but I made sure to take the proper meds. HAH! Take THAT!
And, of course, so many funny moments. This one had me cracking up.
I am absolutely sure that the CAN’T STOP con is going to be another smashin’ concert! So excited!!
So, anyone else going?

Hi,Jeffer. Only Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jong Hyun are from Busan. Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jung Shin are from Ilsan. Great concert pix!
Hi! Thanks for the clarification. I’ve associated all 4 with Busan since Busan seems to have adopted the other 2 as well. Go around Busan and there are, like, images of the 4 of them like all 4 are its sons. 🙂
